St. Patty's Day

This Saturday, March 17, 2018 is St. Patrick's Day. BeKids loves holidays and celebrations so of course we made some time for some creative, imagining and fun surrounding St. Patty's Day.

What is St. Patrick's Day?

The celebration of St. Patrick's day was brought to Canada by Irish immigrants and is a celebration of a Christian missionary know as Patrick. Irish legend has it that St. Patrick rid Ireland of snakes. His death on March 17th is now observed as St. Patrick's Day and many symbols are used to represent this. For example shamrocks and the color green are used to represent St. Patty's Day.

We certainly couldn't ignore all the fun that can be had. Check out the fun crafts and our celebratory green!

No matter how you celebrate - Happy St. Patty's Day!

Some of our programs use expensive materials and cannot be substituted with cheaper alternatives. As it is, these fees are then put onto the parents, some too high for parents to afford. To make our programs available to all children we ask for your support to lower the cost of our programs.

Thank you.
