November 20 PD Day - DIY SPINEMAS

We are heading to the movies and are so excited!

Join BeKids on November 20th as we head to the movies! This PD Day Camp we are creating Spinemas!!

Dubbed the “fantascope” the phenakistoscope is one of the first devices to demonstrate the illusion of moving images.  The zoetrope, similar to the phenakistoscope produces the illusion of motion by displaying a sequence of images or photos.  BeKids is creating what we call SPINEMAS.  Kids will spend the day DIY'ing using various materials including Lego and LEDs.

Some of our programs use expensive materials and cannot be substituted with cheaper alternatives. As it is, these fees are then put onto the parents, some too high for parents to afford. To make our programs available to all children we ask for your support to lower the cost of our programs.

Thank you.
